This image shows a Disston friction circular saw blade with an 84 inch O.D. being repaired by welding for a U.S. steel mill.
When raw material is received from the mill, we often use an oxygen/acetylene torch to cut saw blades’ outer and inner diameters.
This image shows the flame cutting of a saw blade. We also use plasma, laser, and water jet when needed.
All work is completed in-house in our Philadelphia, PA manufacturing facility using time honored methods - since 1840.
This image shows our CNC drilling machine to drill holes in die cutting plates. Hole accuracy is +/- 0.010 inches. We are not limited by number of holes or configuration.
This image shows our austentizing furnace on the left. Steel product moves out of the furnace and along the conveyor to the oil quench tank. This process increases hardness of the steel up to 62 HRc. View more on Heat Treating.
