We are expert at making hardened, flat and precise steel products. Our on-site heat treat, grinding, and laser cutting allows us to meet the most demanding timetables and quality specifications.
Located in historic Northeast Philadelphia, Disston is proud to continue the legacy begun by Mr. Henry Disston in 1840 when he opened his first saw-shop in the Philadelphia area. We still manufacture our products on the sight in Tacony that was established by the Disston family beginning in the 1870s to provide not only production facilities but a neighborhood where workers could live, shop and worship in a healthy and safe environment.
